Buffalo Hunts: Experience the thrill of hunting in Australia’s Northern Territories—an adventure like no other! This vast, untamed wilderness includes our partner’s concession in Arnhem Land. It spans over a million acres and is home to thousands of buffalo. Whether you’re looking for a trophy bull or planning on culling multiple buffalo, this is the perfect destination.

During the hunt, you’ll encounter several trophy bulls and have the opportunity to select the one you wish to take. These majestic creatures, many of which have never seen a human, offer an awe-inspiring sight. Known for their toughness, most of them need multiple well-placed shots from a heavy rifle to bring down. Trophy cows are equally impressive, showcasing slimmer yet longer horns, with some featuring unique, non-typical shapes.

Double rifle enthusiasts will relish the chance to get up close during these hunts. Archery hunters also have close to 100% success. For those eager to hunt multiple buffalo, this destination offers unbeatable culling packages at a very reasonable price. In this area you can also hunt feral cattle (scrub bulls), wild pigs, and donkeys.

The hunts are based in a remote tented camp. It is situated on a small creek about an hour from the landing strip. Despite its isolation, the camp provides all modern comforts, including WiFi for connectivity with the outside world.

    Banteng Hunts:

Banteng are a rare wild bovine species from Southeast Asia. They are critically endangered in their native habitats and can only be hunted in Australia. Though smaller than the Asian water buffalo, Banteng are highly elusive, making for an exciting and challenging hunt.

For hunters looking to finish their collection of wild oxen, a Banteng hunt is a must! Our partner’s concession is located in the stunning Coburg National Park, the original release site for Banteng in Australia. Here, the camp is perched atop a cliff with breathtaking ocean views—a setting as picturesque as the hunt itself. This area also offers opportunities to hunt feral pigs and the occasional buffalo.

    Additional Hunting Options:

Beyond buffalo and Banteng, the Northern Territories offer hunts for other species. These include Rusa deer, camels, bullocks (buffalo with sweeping horns), and feral goats. In other regions of Australia, we also organize hunts for all the various deer species found in Australia.

    Getting There:

Guests typically fly into Darwin, where they’ll be greeted. Transfers to Arnhem Land (about 9 hours by road) and the Coburg Peninsula (around 7 hours by road) are included. Charter flights are available at an extra cost.

We can arrange gun permits for hunters bringing their own rifles. Alternatively, we offer high-quality bolt-action rifles with scopes in calibers like .375 H&H, .416, and .450 Rigby for hassle-free travel. If you plan to tour around Australia before or after your hunt, use our rifles. Your gun permit is only valid for the Northern Territories.

The hunting season runs from end of May to the End of September.

The shipping of trophies from Australia is prompt. They are shipped within a few months after the season ends.
