To help our Network Members navigate the website and answer some Frequently Asked Questions, we have created this Tutorial to cover the features of the website. Click on the links below to find the information that you are looking for. Also refer to the relevant screen shots within each section and Note the highlighted links on each one. How do I Join? How do I Edit my Profile? How do I update My Profile Information? How do I add Photos? How do I add Classifieds? Posting Articles? What is a Blog? Why should I add Friends to my Profile? How do I add a Friend to my Profile? What is a Group? How do I send a Message? How do I find Members? How do I Join the Network? Click on the Join Today button on the home page of the website. The Registration form will come up where you enter all your information – see second screen shot below of our Registration form. Note: Some fields are mandatory and must be completed when joining; other fields are Optional fields which you can complete at any time to create your full profile.   How do I edit my Profile? After you have logged in click on the [edit] link as circled below to update your Profile.  How do I update My Profile Information? Once you click on the [edit] link you will see your Profile tabs as circled below. Click on each tab, update your information and click on the Save Changes button at the bottom of each page to save your updates.  How do I add Photos? You can create multiple photo albums for different occasions or subjects and add photos with descriptions to each one. Upload photos up to 3mb in size per photo. Login, click on the Photos link as circled below. Then "Create New Album".  How do I add Classifieds? After you have logged in, click on the Classifieds link above and then on the left hand tab [View My Listings]. On that page click on the link "Post New Listing" to add your listing to the Classified section.  Posting Articles After you have logged in, click on the Articles link above and then on the left hand tab [My Articles]. On that page click on the "Add New Article" link to add your Article.  What is a Blog? A Blog is a great way to convey your news. After you have logged in, click on the Blog above and then on the tab [View Entries], then click on "Compose New Entry", link to write your blog entry.  Why should I add Friends to My Profile? When you add another Network member to your Friends List, you both are now electronically linked. Each time you login, in the "What’s New" section of your "My Home" page as highlighted below, you will automatically be updated of your Friends actions on the Network. View each other’s Photos, read Blogs and more.  How do I add a Friend to my Profile? Find the member you wish to add to your Friends List. Click on the "Add to My Friends" link as highlighted below under their Profile photo. If they accept your request, they will automatically be added to your Friends List and be linked with your profile.  What is a Group? A Group is a number of members linked together. To form a Group after you login, click on the Groups link as highlighted below. Then "Create New Group" and follow the instructions. You can create a Group for your friends, hunting club, organization or for a particular interest. Each Group has its own Photo Album and Forum which allows its members to post new topics and comment on existing ones. Groups can be created as Open or Closed Groups. In a closed Group situation the Group leader will have to invite other members to join the Group. Other Network members will not have access to this Group.  How do I send a Message? Once you login, click on the Messages link as highlighted below and then on the "Compose New Message". link. Enter the username of the person you want to message and send as you would a normal email. As with regular email you can view your messages in your Inbox and Sent Messages folders.  How do I find other Network Members? Enter a persons name or keyword, example "Taxidermist" in the Search box. You can also click on the Advanced Search link under the Search box to find members using various Search criteria as shown in the screen shot below.  |
