HuntersNetworks is a free to use, open Social Network for the hunting, shooting and outdoor community.
The network is made of up of thousands of individual users, including sport hunters, outfitters, hunting guides, African professional hunters, videographers, outdoor writers, taxidermists, hunting TV show hosts, booking agents, manufacturers of hunting gear, wildlife artists and others connected to the hunting and shooting world. HuntersNetworks is a privately held company based in New York.
Who can join?
Anyone who enjoys hunting, fishing, shooting and the outdoors is welcome to join. By joining HuntersNetworks, hunters can share their sport, views, interests and network with friends, family, fellow sport hunters, professional hunters and hunting guides worldwide!
What does it cost?
There is NO cost to join the network. It is absolutely FREE to Sign Up
Where do I begin?
To join, click on the Sign up button on the Home page. Complete the Profile form by entering relevant information in each of the form fields. To register a few mandatory fields are required to be completed. You can create a complete Profile by filling adding information in the optional fields at any time.
Features of HuntersNetworks
Adding Friends
Add friends to your profile to be electronically connected with other network users. By creating a network of friend you will be informed of their actions on the network every time you login. Dynamic links allow you to quickly navigate through their profiles, photos, comments and other actions.
Photos
Create multiple photo albums and add photographs with descriptions. You can share your photos with other users, as well as post comments on other users photographs. You will be notified each time another user or friend posts a comment on your photos.
Messaging
Our built in messaging system allows you to contact send a message to another user on the network by simply entering their username. You will be notified via email when you receive a new message.
Blog
Your blog allows you to express your thoughts as well as read blogs posted by other users.
Classifieds
Our classified section allows users to add items or services for sale. Outfitters and professional hunters can add their hunt listings.
Articles
The Article section allows users to add information under various categories. Read and add hunt reports, as well as product reviews and other interesting articles here.
Invite Friends
Invite your hunting buddies and other friends to join HuntersNetworks using our invite feature, which will allow you to access your friends email addresses and send them a message. Help grow the network; every new user brings connections and enhances the network.
Groups
The Groups feature allows individuals as well as organizations to create Groups or mini networks on HuntersNetworks. Organizations can create chapter groups and invite their own members to join their chapter group. Creating a Group will encourage networking amongst your own members as well as promote your chapter group to non members. This is a great way to build your own club or organizations membership. Each group comes with its own discussion board and photo gallery. Groups can be created as public groups for anyone to join or private groups where one has to be invited to join.
Privacy Settings
At HuntersNetworks we take the view that everyone is entitled to as much privacy as they wish to have. We have therefore provided several Privacy settings that allow you to control the amount of Privacy you wish to incorporate into different areas and how other network members may interact with you:

- Comment on your profile
- Search for you on our Network
Photo Albums settings
You have detailed control on each one of your five individual photo albums
- Decide and control on who can view a particular album
- Who can comment on your pictures in an album
- Whether you wish to include the album in the search
Remove Friends Feature
You can choose to remove a person from your friends list. They will then no longer be able to view your profile (if you have selected the option that only allows your friends to view your profile) or profiles of your friends.
